Hi, I’m Dena DeCastro.  It’s no secret that I believe you have a mission here on this earth.  In fact, I believe that your soul has a mission more sacred and powerful than you might even imagine.  Some people think we’re victims of circumstance, driven by hormones, our DNA, or our childhood experiences.  You and I know better.  We are so much more than these beautiful bodies and minds, and we aren’t even just the sum of our experiences—there’s something more to us.  You can call it essence, or spirit, or higher self—I think of it as your soul.

Why Astrology?
That part of you is striving, perhaps through many lifetimes, to achieve your own personal destiny.  Each one of us has a path to walk—in our everyday life but also through the grand sweep of history.  Astrology is a way to find your place within the greater order of things.  It’s about knowing your own context: knowing what inherent strengths you might be ignoring, and what challenges tend to hold you back.  It’s about being clear on what you brought in with you, and what you’re heading toward.  It’s a deep connection with your own free will and embracing the longings of your heart.

Taking the Mystique Out of Astrology
My job as a teacher and astrologer is to take some of the mystique out of an often-misunderstood field.  I don’t wear a purple turban or waft around on a dreamy cloud.  I live in the real world, just like you do.  But having a deep understanding of the cosmos and my place within it gives my life a deep purpose, meaning, and momentum.  Even on busy days, I feel a sense of comfort and satisfaction because I know I am doing my soul work.  And I can navigate life’s surprises and challenges with more peace, savvy, and faith because I have a clearer picture of my place in the scheme of things.

That’s why I created Astrology Classroom.com – to give you all the information, skills, and insight you need to look at your life in this empowered way.  I love doing readings with my private clients, but I also want to lead you, if you’re ready to go deeper, to take ownership of this journey on your own.  I know how daunting it can seem.  Even people who’ve studied astrology for years may be confused when it comes to actually reading their own chart…let alone the chart of a friend or love interest!  And if you’re just getting started, the stacks of books and reams of information (not to mention all the scammy, sleazy misinformation out there) can be completely overwhelming.  My goal is that by the time you finish this course, you will be deeply secure in the knowledge that you can interpret a chart, understand its larger significance, and have access to the best resources in the world to further deepen your wisdom.
